Writing an article about the Best All-Inclusive Resort in the Caribbean is fun, but it’s no easy task.

- Best Suites at All-Inclusive Caribbean Resort
- Best All-Inclusive Resort in the Caribbean With Private Pools

Let’s get traveling!
Best Romantic All-Inclusive for Couples in the Caribbean
This might not sound romantic, but our sense of smell is incredibly powerful.
That’s why we chose the far less touristy nation of Grenada as the most romantic island in the Caribbean—this lush and lovely island is alive with beautiful, natural fragrances that you’ll remember forever.
Grenada is known as the Spice Island, a major exporter of delicious-smelling spices like cinnamon, ginger, and nutmeg. Grenada is equally famous for its cocoa products and rum… and we think chocolate and rum punch is incredibly romantic!
Grenada is an eco-paradise. Because it’s under the radar as a tourist destination, you can enjoy more privacy on your vacation, and that sounds pretty romantic to us.
Spice Island Beach Resort
This boutique-style, 5-diamond all-inclusive resort has 64 romantic villas on Grenada’s stunning Grand Anse Beach.
The all-inclusive amenities include all-day dining and premium-label drinks in two resort restaurants, non-motorized watersports, and a fitness center.
This family-friendly property offers couples good-quality alone time in beach, pool, or garden villas ranging from 620 to 1,440 square feet.
Price: From $924—$1,527 per night off-season. Check the website for offers throughout the year.
From its location on the blush-tinged sands of Pink Gin Beach to ten 5-star gourmet restaurants serving you diverse cuisine and premium beverages, Sandals is renowned for luxury inclusions like scuba for certified divers and a state-of-the-art fitness center.

Best Caribbean All-Inclusive Resort With Private Island
While the Bahamian Islands aren’t technically in the Caribbean, the spirit of the Bahamas is warm and tropical, and two super-special all-inclusive resorts in the Bahamas feature private islands for guests only.
Kamalame Cay Private Island Resort
The 97-acre Kamalame Cay is located just off the Bahamian island of Andros in clear ocean waters.
Its cottages, bungalows, and beach houses are set among coconut groves and flowers, and this private island resort welcomes families—that apparently means sweet doggies too!
There are three meal plans, with the Premium Guest of House plan including all meals, non-alcoholic beverages, resort wines, and spirits. The resort has an overwater spa, with decadent treatments available at an additional charge.
You can enjoy non-motorized watersports and diving, play tennis on land, or rent bicycles. The island is also known for its fantastic bird-watching, and guests have spotted flamingos and native parrots.
Price: A small cottage with a king bed starts at $1,035 per night, and with the premium meal plan added on, it’s $1,635 per night for two guests.
Sandals Royal Bahamian
Sandals Royal Bahamian is the most elegant all-inclusive resort with an exotic offshore island adventure.
This luxury all-inclusive in the Bahamas is a quick flight away from most East Coast departure cities. Sandals Royal Bahamian is a couples-only resort in Nassau, and airport transfers are included in your rate.
Royal Bahamian offers ten specialty restaurants and premium beverages, and guests get transported by boat a few minutes to Barefoot Cay. On this private island, drinks, dining, and watersports are also included for Sandals guests.

Best Suites at an All-Inclusive Caribbean Resort
Breathtaking and dramatic St. Lucia could share first place with many other categories.
Full of history and adventure, St. Lucia’s luxury all-inclusive resorts offer the most stunning suites in the Caribbean.
Jade Mountain Resort
Architect Nick Troubetzkoy designed Jade Mountain to rise above the ocean and provide stunning views of the sea and the Pitons World Heritage site.
The ensuite infinity pool accommodations at Jade Mountain are indescribable. These ultra-private pool suites are tech-free, and guests are encouraged to surrender to the beauty of the natural world.
Dining at the Jade Mountain Club is an unforgettable experience, with award-winning Chef Allen Susser creating spectacular “Jade Cuisine.”

Best All-Inclusive Resort in the Caribbean With Private Pools
We already named excellent Caribbean all-inclusive resorts with private pool sanctuaries and infinity pools. Still, we had to give honorable mentions to two all-inclusive resorts with private pools that are just extra.
Sanctuary Cap Cana, Punta Cana, Dominican Republic
The Sanctuary Cap Cana, a Luxury Collection Adult All-Inclusive Resort, is a lavish retreat located in the Dominican Republic's exclusive Cap Cana enclave. With its all-inclusive luxury, beautiful beachfront setting, and world-class amenities, it offers adults a secluded and indulgent tropical paradise.
A $45 million renovation has reinvented Sanctuary Cap Cana as an “exclusive all-inclusive” adults-only resort in Punta Cana.
Dining areas and bars have been updated, the spa area is enhanced (treatments extra), and there’s now a state-of-the-art fitness center.
But what is most impressive about this resort is its fabulous, distinctive accommodations, like the Castle Suite with its three private indoor plunge pools!
Price: The price of a Castle Suite starts at $2,384 per night, and online booking includes a 10% discount on spa services.
Sandals Royal Curacao, Santa Barbara, Curacao
Sandals newest all-inclusive resort in Curaçao is where the natural romance of this intimate island comes alive.
Curacao is the largest of the ABC Islands in the Leeward Antilles, and its location in the Caribbean makes it less prone to damaging weather events like hurricanes.
When it comes to private pool suites in the Caribbean, Sandals Royal Curacao takes it with Seaside Bungalows featuring butler service and gigantic, private infinity pools—this couples-only resort will truly take your breath away.
Check out our Sandals Royal Curacao review!
Price: A Seaside Bungalow with a huge infinity pool starts at $1,705 per person per night, and Special Offers are available.
Best Caribbean All-Inclusive for Amenities
Barbados has been one of the most popular Caribbean islands for decades, and it’s made some impressive lists of places to visit.
Blessed with delicious Bajan cuisine and strong local rums, Barbados is also known for safe tourist areas to shop and sight-see, fabulous beaches, horse racing, history, and plenty of nature tours to see fascinating creatures like green monkeys!
We found two (actually, three) great all-inclusive resorts in Barbados with super-special amenities for travelers like you.
O2 Beach Club & Spa All Inclusive by Ocean Hotels
O2 Beach Club & Spa is a stylish and upscale beachfront resort in Barbados, offering a blend of modern luxury and Caribbean charm. With its serene atmosphere, well-appointed accommodations, and direct access to a pristine beach, it's an ideal destination for those seeking relaxation and tropical beauty.

Premium drinks are part of O2’s all-inclusive package, and there are “five dining experiences,” including small plates by the two swim-up pool bars, a la carte dining seaside, and a fine dining restaurant (private dinners on the beach are an additional charge).
There is also a fitness center for guests, multiple whirlpools on the sun terrace, and spa treatments at an additional cost.
Price: Rooms from $690 to $3,092 per night, including taxes and fees. Luxury and concierge collection suites include exchange privileges with a sister hotel, Sea Breeze Beach House.
Sandals Resorts in Barbados
Sandals Barbados is the most exclusive Sandals Resort ever created in a premier destination that’s long been a favorite of jet-setters.
There are two luxury all-inclusive beachfront resorts side-by-side in the popular St. Lawrence Gap area.
These adults-only Sandals resorts are renowned across the Caribbean for luxury-included amenities, including 21 gourmet restaurants, a gourmet donut shop, all-day entertainment with premium beverages, a rooftop pool bar, and a beachfront glass-edge pool.
Experience the epitome of elegant luxury, where extraordinary innovations and sublime indulgences abound.
On the water, the amenities include scuba for certified divers, kayaking, paddleboarding, snorkeling, and glass bottom boat rides. On land, enjoy beach volleyball, pool tables, the state-of-the-art fitness center, and the most popular activity—an onsite bowling alley.
Best Caribbean All-Inclusive Resorts for Relaxing
As much as we love the kiddos, our idea of a relaxing all-inclusive vacation is a Caribbean resort for adults only, and the best island in the relaxing category just might be Antigua.
Antigua has one big and one small thing going for it—the island is so tiny and easy to navigate you can quickly drive your rental car around it a few times in one day.
But people don’t travel to Antigua to drive around. The big thing here is what Antigua is famous for—it has 365 beaches!
Here are our favorite all-inclusive resorts in Antigua to indulge in pure relaxation.
Galley Bay Resort and Spa
Escape to paradise at Galley Bay Resort & Spa, Antigua. This secluded adults-only retreat offers a perfect blend of serenity and luxury on the pristine shores of Antigua. Immerse yourself in breathtaking natural beauty, unwind in spacious accommodations, and indulge in delectable cuisine.
Set on 56 lush and private acres that include fragrant gardens, an inland lagoon, a bird sanctuary, and a three-quarter-mile stretch of incredible beach, the adults-only Galley Bay Resort and Spa is designed to relax and recharge.
All meals, snacks, and afternoon tea are included, as well as unlimited alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages at three onsite restaurants and a coffee shop.
The resort does charge a daily fee that includes onsite activities and entertainment, but with a slogan that says “Do It All, or Nothing At All,” your sheer relaxation is pretty much guaranteed.
Price: $947.72 per night for a minimum three-night stay (non-refundable rate), excluding taxes and fees.
Sandals Grande Antigua
Voted the “World’s Most Romantic Resort” year after year, adults-only Sandals Grande Antigua is located on Antigua’s best and most famous beach, Dickenson Bay.
Sandals understands that Antigua is the perfect island for beach bums!
But it doesn’t hurt that your relaxing vacation at adults-only Sandals Grande Antigua includes 11 gourmet restaurants, premium beverages around the stunning pool with a swim-up pool bar, and butler service on the beach.
Another option is candlelight dining under the stars. This costs more, but it sounds like a delicious blend of romance and relaxation for your couple’s vacation.
Check out our review of Sandals Grande Antigua!
Price: Check out a Private Pool Sanctuary Suite steps from the beach for $803 per person per night or a Grande Luxe Room with a walkout to a semi-private cottage pool with hot tub area for $282 per person per night (airport transfers included).
Best “Cheapest” All-Inclusive Caribbean Resort
It’s great to get a cheap deal on an all-inclusive vacation, but I know from experience that inexpensive is not the way to go (check out my review of barely 3-star Breezes vs. Sandals 5-star luxury).
If you do need to get away and have a budget in mind, we totally understand that!
That’s why we scoured the Caribbean and Mexico for affordable all-inclusive resorts that will hopefully exceed your expectations.
Wyndham Alltra Resorts Cancun
The Wyndham Alltra Cancun is a contemporary beachfront resort situated in the heart of Cancun's hotel zone. With its modern design, all-inclusive amenities, and stunning Caribbean views, it provides a vibrant and convenient vacation destination for travelers in search of a beachfront escape.
Cancun is an extremely popular vacation destination. There are good direct flights from North America, and the weather is relatively great most of the year.
The Hotel Zone in Cancun is packed with pricier mega-resorts, and if you’re looking for dining and amenities that won’t break the bank, check out family-friendly Wyndham Alltra (formerly Panama Jack Resorts), one of the most affordable all-inclusive properties in the area.

Cozumel Palace All-Inclusive Resort
Cozumel Palace is an all-inclusive resort on the island of Cozumel, Mexico, known for its oceanfront location and stunning views of the Caribbean Sea. This tropical paradise offers guests luxurious accommodations, top-notch dining, and a range of water-based activities for a memorable vacation experience.
Cozumel is a beautiful part of the Mexican Caribbean and is famous for diving and snorkeling. If you’re looking for a reasonable all-inclusive with good dining and other fun things to do, consider Cozumel Palace.
Your all-inclusive package includes non-motorized watersports, an activity pool, and all-day entertainment, and the accommodations here feature 24-hour room service.
Price: The all-inclusive package starts at $412 per night (40% discount for booking online and paying in advance).
Sandals Ochi, Ocho Rios, Jamaica
Modern chic and private exclusivity, meet in the heart of Jamaica in a resort that features the best of both worlds. On one side of paradise, discover the beachside Caribbean Riviera with a hot beach club.
We could go on and on about Sandals Ochi!
This adults-only resort in beautiful Ocho Rios is considered one of the most affordable all-inclusive properties in the entire Caribbean, and when you see everything that’s included, this resort isn’t just cheap; it’s really impressive.
Sandals Ochi is a huge resort where you can still find pockets of privacy. You’ll enjoy 16 gourmet restaurants onsite, as well as the coolest Speakeasy in the Caribbean with outstanding live entertainment and premium beverages.
