Operated by the non-profit Wornall Majors, the Alexander Majors House and Barn is a historic museum and may be the perfect wedding venue for you. Built in 1856, this iconic mansion has a colorful history.

The Legacy At Green Hills

Dreaming of an outdoor wedding complete with lush meadows, wildflowers, and mature trees? The Legacy at Green Hills is located within the Kansas City city limits, yet feels like you are away from it all with 40 acres of beautiful landscape, complete with a small lake.

The Martin Event Space was built in the 1950s and was originally used as a church. Located in south Kansas City in a suburb called Martin City, the Martin Event Space is historic with a modern twist.

Last but not least, The Brim is another newer Kansas-City-based wedding that is sure to become a bride or groom’s choice. The property is located on 16 acres of hills and is close to both downtown Kansas City and the Kansas City airport.

What makes The Brim so special, is that it is one of the most affordable wedding venues in Kansas City and even offers to rent the venue alone with no services for $1. Free wedding services anyone?

The Brim Chapel was completed in June 2021 and is truly a unique setting. There is space for 90 seated guests for a ceremony and it has garage doors that open to accommodate even more.

You can also choose to have your reception inside the chapel or outside on the grounds with a 40-foot by 60-foot tent. Set atop a hill, The Brim boasts amazing sunsets and scenic views.
