Location of Sandals Negril vs Sandals Whitehouse
Guests of Sandals Negril and Sandals South Coast (Whitehouse) fly into Sangster International Airport, the closest airport to Negril and Whitehouse, Jamaica.
It’s approximately 75 to 90 minutes from the airport to either Negril or Whitehouse, and roundtrip transfers are included in an air-conditioned bus.
Sandals Negril
Closer to the water’s edge than anywhere else in Negril, life can truly be what you imagine in the relaxed chic, and free-spirited Sandals Negril.
Seven Mile Beach is the most famous in Jamacia, and Sandals Negril occupies a lovely stretch of sand here. Negril is on the North West Coast of the island.
Sandals Whitehouse
Set along a 2-mile stretch of the pristine south coast of Jamaica, this entire all-inclusive resort has been designed to embrace the coastline.
White House is on Jamaica’s South Coast. This area has retained much of its unspoiled natural beauty, and the quiet area around Sandals South Coast is home to old-world charm and small towns with a thriving fishing industry.
However, the road system to White House is currently not in the best shape, and travelers with sensitive stomachs may feel car-sick during the bus transport to Sandals South Coast.

The biggest thing in common between Sandals Negril and Sandals Whitehouse is their relative seclusion from other Sandals resorts in Jamaica.
So what’s the big deal about that?
Well, another cool feature of a Sandals resort in Jamaica is the unique ability to “Stay at One” resort and enjoy dining and drink privileges at other Sandals in Jamaica.

Sandals Negril vs Sandals South Coast Review of Pools
Sandals South Coast currently has the longest swim-up pool in the Western Hemisphere. But that’s set to change when Sandals Dunn’s River opens in May 2023.
In total, there are three (3) freshwater pools, four (4) whirlpools, and one (1) scuba dive pool at Sandals South Coast. The French pool is the party place during the day!
Sandals Negril offers three (3) freshwater pools and three (3) whirlpools. Sandals Negril isn’t known for its gigantic swimming pools, although the pools stay open later and offer a lively atmosphere at night.
OUR VERDICT: this Sandals Negril beachfront video shows you how close you are to that gorgeous beach, and while both resorts offer a beautiful stretch of sand, South Coast has the most impressive pools.
