7 Best Florida All-inclusive Resorts—Our Review & Comparison

For many people in North America and worldwide, it’s a no-brainer to dream about an escape to many parts of Florida—from the Keys to Miami, up the East Coast to Orlando, and across to the Gulf Coast.

The Sunshine State often nabs the top spot in surveys of the most popular vacation destination in the country.

If you’re looking for a value-added and affordable all-inclusive vacation, this article is definitely for you!

I like Florida, especially how dog-friendly it is, and many of our wedding couples love including their “pawsome” pooches on their big day.

But there’s one thing you won’t find too many of in Florida: a true all-inclusive resort, like the luxury-included resorts that are so plentiful throughout the Caribbean and Mexico.

Still, I found the cream of the orange crop in various package deals at beautiful resorts throughout Florida. A good package deal will give you some benefits of an all-inclusive, but there’s more!

I also found two special Florida resorts that claim to be truly all-inclusive, and we’ll compare all of these beautiful Florida properties with the world’s best all-inclusive resorts so you can review and compare your best vacation options, too.

Best Florida All-Inclusive Resorts by Category

To make it easier to help you decide on your best all-inclusive vacation, I selected resorts by category:

  • Best all-inclusive beach resorts in Florida
  • Best all-inclusive golf resort in Florida
  • Best all-inclusive family resort in Florida
  • Best all-inclusive Florida resort for adults only
  • Best resorts in Florida for all-inclusive vacations

Wedding Pioneer Travel Tip: “All-inclusive resort” often has a different meaning in Florida, and not all activities or beverages are included in the costs. That’s why comparing Florida vacations with the world’s best all-inclusive resorts is worthwhile.

Best All-Inclusive Beach Resorts in Florida

The powdery stretches of sand on Florida’s East Coast rival any beach destination in the world.

Let’s start with the super-chic Miami Beach area, where celebrity favorite South Beach reigns supreme.

Loews Miami Beach Hotel

Loews Miami Beach Hotel

The Loews Miami Beach Hotel is a luxurious beachfront property located in the heart of South Beach, Miami. With stunning oceanfront views, upscale amenities, and a prime location near famous attractions, it's a top choice for travelers seeking a stylish and vibrant Miami experience.

Palm trees and salty breezes welcome you to the exclusive Loews Miami Beach Hotel, considered to be one of the best—and priciest—hotels in South Beach.

Loews is family (and pet) friendly, but this luxury hotel also caters to couples with add-on features that give this a-la-carte property a bit more of an all-inclusive feel.

For example, you can book an add-on like the adults-only SOAK cabanas at Loews, which offers private poolside daybeds and complete food and beverage service. Additionally, the Sea Spa and fitness center are adults only.

You can choose from rooms or suites at Loews, and some suites include a kitchenette.

One popular option is the “suite deal package,” which entitles your party to a daily food and beverage credit of $125 (a daily breakfast buffet for two is approximately $80 + taxes and tip).

Rates: Oceanfront Junior Suite with Balcony starts at $1,149 per night for a suite deal package (two-night minimum).

Wedding Pioneer Travel Tip: If you’re looking for a couples-only resort on a stunning, world-famous beach, consider a Beachfront One-Bedroom Villa in Negril that is only $469 per person, per night with premium food, beverages, and activities included.

Now, let’s move up Florida’s Atlantic Coast to beautiful Vero Beach!

Costa d’Este Beach Resort & Spa

Costa d'Este Beach Resort & Spa

Costa d'Este Beach Resort & Spa is a chic and elegant oceanfront retreat situated in Vero Beach, Florida. Known for its sophisticated design, beautiful beachfront setting, and world-class spa, it offers a tranquil escape for those seeking relaxation and luxury on the Florida coast.

This boutique spa resort sits on the windswept shores of Vero Beach. If you’re a fan of Cuban-American music superstar Gloria Estefan, you’ll be delighted to know that she and her husband Emilio are owner-affiliates of this pretty property.

Guests of all ages (and their pets for an extra charge) are welcome at Costa d’Este, and rooms or suites come with patios or balconies overlooking the gardens, pool, or beach.

While Costa d’Este isn’t truly all-inclusive, a daily resort fee provides some amenities, and bed and breakfast packages or drink vouchers are available to save money.

Rates:  Oceanfront rooms start at $211 per night, and suites start at $511 per night plus resort fees and taxes (drink or dining packages can be booked under the “Offers” tab).

Wedding Pioneer Travel Tip: Sandals Royal Plantation is a truly all-inclusive, couples-only boutique hotel in Jamaica with 74 oceanview suites and private butler service.

Rates start from just $252 per person per night. Check out our detailed review of Royal Plantation!

Best All-Inclusive Golf Resort in Florida

Golf Digest considers New York State and California the country’s two best golf areas, with the largest number of top golf courses in North America.

But if you want to golf at a top course on your vacation in Florida, you’re still in luck!

I found a golf resort in Florida that offers breakfast or golf packages, and the bonus here is that you still have access to beautiful beaches in Naples, Florida.

LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort

LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort

LaPlaya Beach & Golf Resort is a renowned luxury resort nestled on the picturesque Gulf of Mexico in Naples, Florida. This waterfront paradise offers guests a combination of pristine beaches, championship golf, and exquisite dining, making it a perfect destination for those seeking a blend of relaxation and outdoor recreation.

Florida’s Gulf Coast has many long, sandy beaches that are often less crowded than Miami or Fort Lauderdale. When you’re an avid golfer and beach lover, the award-winning LaPlaya resort could be your ideal destination.

LaPlaya enjoys a stunning setting between Vanderbilt Bay and the Gulf of Mexico. Rooms and suites here have been recently renovated, and luxury amenities include gourmet dining and a decadent spa facility.

But the standout at LaPlaya is the 18-hour, Robert Cupp-designed golf course for guests and members only.

The daily breakfast and golf packages at LaPlaya provide somewhat of an inclusive resort feel. However, I couldn’t find a package online bundling meals with accommodations and golfing (maybe the resort offers something like this if you call them directly?).

Rates: Resort-view Tower rooms cost $463 per night (accommodation only, taxes and fees extra). A golf package for two with accommodation starts at $1,199 per night (no meals or beverages included).

Wedding Pioneer Travel Tip: Truly all-inclusive Sandals Emerald Bay in Great Exuma, Bahamas, is easy to reach from main North American airports, and it’s attached to an award-winning Greg Norman-designed golf course.

Rates start at $383 per person per night. Check out our detailed review!

Best All-Inclusive Florida Resort—Adults Only

The Florida Keys offer North America’s most laidback, Caribbean-like vacation vibe.

Little Palm Island Resort & Spa

Little Palm Island Resort & Spa

Nestled on a private island in the Florida Keys, Little Palm Island Resort & Spa offers a secluded and romantic escape. With its luxurious overwater bungalows, gourmet dining, and pristine beaches, it's a dream destination for couples seeking a tranquil and intimate getaway.

Little Palm Island Resort and Spa in the Keys calls itself “America’s only private island resort,” guests reach Little Palm Island on the resort’s small private yacht.

This is an adults-only property (people 18+, no pets allowed) with super-special accommodations and amenities, including South Seas-styled thatched-roof bungalows and indulgent spa services like “massage journeys” and “body excursions.”

Romantic island suites include private decks, indoor/outdoor showers, and a boudoir tub.

Rates include all gourmet food, drinks, and activities, including scuba for certified divers, from $293 per person per night.

Best Florida Resorts for All-Inclusive Vacations

I saved the best for last with this category and found two Florida resorts with good all-inclusive programs.

The first all-inclusive resort in Florida is for adults only, and the second is family-friendly with kids programs, including a mini-club for kids four and up and daily supervised activities for youth up to age seventeen.

Bungalows Key Largo

Bungalows Key Largo

The Bungalows Key Largo is an adults-only, all-inclusive resort located in the Florida Keys. Known for its overwater bungalows, waterfront dining, and a focus on wellness and relaxation, it provides a luxurious and serene tropical escape in a stunning natural setting.

Let’s head back to the Florida Keys and check in at Key Largo, the gateway to this scenic chain of islands surrounded by electric blue seas.

Bungalows Key Largo is an intimate property for people over age 21. Their all-inclusive rate includes meals and snacks at five restaurants (except Bogie & Bacall’s), premium alcohol and refreshments, two pools and jacuzzis, non-motorized watersports, and fitness classes.

Accommodations range from Garden Bungalows (King or 2 Queen beds) to Waterfront Bungalows. Check out the resort map here.

You’ll enjoy a private veranda and an outdoor soaking tub, with a beverage cooler, microwave, and coffeemaker inside your climate-controlled bungalow (both A/C and heat, since Florida nights in the winter and spring can get chilly!).

Rates: A “Quaint Garden” bungalow starts at $899 for two per night plus taxes and fees, and side-by-side Waterfront bungalows start at $1,649 per night for two (minimum two-night stay required for the best refundable rates in all accommodations, and taxes and fees are extra).

Wedding Pioneer Travel Tip: Awa Seaside Bungalows at Sandals Royal Curacao have amazing waterfront views from your private infinity pool

Rates truly include everything and start at $303 per person per night to $1,682 per person per night for an exceptional vacation at Sandals Curacao.

Let’s finish with an all-inclusive property between Orlando and West Palm Beach on Florida’s East Coast.

Sandpiper Bay by Wyndham—All-Inclusive

Sandpiper Bay All-Inclusive, Trademark Collection by Wyndham

Sandpiper Bay All-Inclusive, Trademark Collection by Wyndham is a family-friendly resort nestled in Port St. Lucie, Florida. With all-inclusive packages, a variety of sports and recreational activities, and convenient access to Florida's attractions, it's an ideal choice for a well-rounded and affordable vacation.

This family-friendly property shut down in 2023, and the closure disappointed many people who had pre-booked reservations for this year.

The good news is that Sandpiper Bay is reopening in mid-November 2023 after an extensive property renovation in Port St. Lucie, Florida.

Sandpiper is located on the St. Lucie River. Meals and drinks are available in a marketplace-style restaurant serving buffet and a la carte meals, with a lounge and sports bar serving non-alcoholic refreshments and house wines, beers, and spirits.

Accommodations range from a standard king bedroom to a deluxe family suite with in-room amenities like a hair dryer, safe mini-fridge, and coffeemaker.

Amenities include a golf course and mini-golf, tennis, pickleball, basketball, volleyball, an indoor gym, and non-motorized watersports including paddleboarding and kayaking. There appears to be a family pool and an adult pool and spa.

One special feature at Sandpiper is the option to pay for elite sports training with pro coaches in tennis, golf, volleyball, soccer, and swimming.

Rates: Family suites start at $769 per night for four people (two adults and two kids under ten, taxes and fees extra). Please ask the resort whether premium beverages are included, as the day pass page on their website says that premium alcoholic beverages are not included.

Wedding Pioneer Travel Tip: Beaches Ocho Rios in Jamaica is a family-friendly, all-inclusive resort with watersports, a waterpark, five swimming pools, seven gourmet restaurants for all meals and premium beverages, and even championship golf for the entire family!

Rates start at $278 per adult per night and $61 per night for child rates—a truly affordable luxury all-inclusive family vacation!
