Guests can have a cocktail in the overwater bar or exchange vows in the breezy overwater chapel. In addition, the resort offers a private offshore island and there are 8 outdoor pools and 6 whirlpools.

Foodies can partake in unlimited dining and premium alcohol at 9 restaurants and 5 bars, while water sports enthusiasts can enjoy PADI-certified scuba diving.

The resort is also home to a kids club with a beachfront play area, jungle gym, and splash pad, as well as a teen lounge, which offers video games, arcade games, and organized activities.

Room highlight: The Oceanfront Junior Suite can fit 4 people and provides over 800 feet of oceanfront luxury.

Secrets Saint James Montego Bay

If you’re looking for an all-inclusive resort with a party vibe that isn’t too sloppy, this adults-only resort in Montego Bay will check all your boxes.

There are different entertainment options every night, including live bands, beach parties with DJs, a nightclub with dance music, and plenty of bars.

The staff leads activities such as ‘Guess the Tune’ games, corn hole, and beach volleyball, so you will never be bored!

Upgrading to Preferred Club allows you to access exclusive areas of the resort, use concierge services, and stay in a premium room.

Room highlight: The Preferred Club Junior Suite Ocean View King has a private, furnished balcony with a hot tub and amazing views.

Sandals Royal Plantation

This adults-only Sandals resort is often ranked the best for older couples, but what this really means is it’s a peaceful place with high standards of service, cleanliness, and organization.

Comprising 74 ocean-view suites (all with personal butler service), Sandals Royal Plantation has an atmosphere that embodies laidback luxury and Jamaican vibes.

There are 2 secluded, private beaches as well as a heated freshwater pool overlooking the aquamarine waters. Entertainment is low key and the dining options are plentiful.

If you’re looking for a little more excitement, you can visit Sandals Ochi, which is one of the sister properties, or you can play a round at Upton Estate Golf & Country Club (green fees included).

Hyatt Zilara Rose Hall

This adults-only paradise offers an escape from everyday life and the chance to relax on the shores of the Caribbean Sea. Guests return over and over due to the high level of service, quality food, and fun events.

There are activities every hour and the staff go out of their way to make the atmosphere inclusive, which means lots of guests participate in the fun.

Guests can enjoy unlimited dining and premium alcohol at 7 restaurants and 6 bars. A lagoon pool meanders through the tropical gardens, while the infinity pool provides a peaceful place to relax.

Room highlight: There are tons of room types, but the One-bedroom Swim-up Suite is our favorite.

Beaches Negril Resort & Spa

Located on the silky, white sands of Seven-Mile, Beaches Negril is one of the best family-friendly resorts in Jamaica. It’s home to Pirates Island Waterpark with a swim-up soda bar, a lazy river, and waterslides, as well as a kids program with tailor-made activities.

Older children can hang out in the Xbox Lounge or the Port Royal Arcade, while teens and only those under 21 can dance non-stop in Club Liquid.

There’s plenty for adults to do, too! The resort boasts 10 restaurants and 7 bars (all with unlimited dining and premium liquor), complimentary PADI-certified scuba diving, and lively shows.

Couples Swept Away

There are 4 Couples Resorts in Jamaica, but Couples Swept Away is ideal for people who love outdoor activities and fitness. Located on Seven-Mile Beach, this couples-only resort is relaxing and effortlessly romantic.

It also has the largest fitness center on the island. The fitness complex includes a gym, 10 tennis courts, racquetball, and squash courts, as well as kickboxing classes.

You can take a kayak out, go sailing, snorkel, or scuba dive. Catamaran cruises, an excursion to Margaritaville, and unlimited food/alcohol are also included in the cost of stay.

Room highlight: There are 8 room types and 316 suites total, but the Premiere Beachfront Suite is the most sought-after.

Sandals Montego Bay

Known for its social atmosphere and luxurious inclusions, Sandals Montego Bay is one of the most popular all-inclusive resorts on the island.

Situated on Montego Bay’s sandy beaches, this adults-only resort features 12 restaurants and 6 bars (including swim-up bars) with unlimited dining and premium alcohol.

There are 7 swimming pools and 3 whirlpools, and guests can enjoy “stay at 1, play at 2” exchange privileges. This means they can use all the amenities (restaurants, bars, pools, and entertainment) at Sandals Royal Caribbean.

Room highlight: Guests can choose 3 room categories (Butler Elite, Club Level, and Sandals Luxury).

All Sandals Butler Elite suites come with private butler service, 24-hour room service, and a ton of other amenities.

The Beachfront Swim-up Millionaire One Bedroom Butler Suite w/ Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub is the most beautiful swim-up room at the resort.

Excellence Oyster Bay

As one of the highest-rated all-inclusive resorts in Jamaica, Excellence Oyster Bay lives up to its name. The atmosphere is luxurious and you will feel like a VIP from the moment you arrive.

Return guests praise the top-tier service, delicious food, and quality suites. There are 5 pools (including a rooftop pool), 4 jacuzzies, cooking lessons, and yoga classes.

Upgrading to the Excellence Club will allow you access to exclusive areas in the resort, including beaches, restaurants, and pools. You also receive luxury inclusions such as an aqua therapy treatment in the spa, a Bvlgari toilet in the room, and sparkling wine on arrival.

Room highlight: The Beach Villa with Private Pool is jaw-dropping.

Couples San Souci

This Couples resort is situated far from the crowded tourist areas and blends “old world glamour with modern style.” The atmosphere can best be described as intimate and lowkey – you will never be pressured to participate in activities and there’s always a chance to find deep relaxation.

Couples San Souci only has 150 suites, but you can still enjoy unlimited dining at 6 restaurants and 6 bars. Guests can choose from seafood, local specialties, and healthy options.

There are a few features that make this resort stand out, including the mineral spring pool and the private, au natural (aka nude) beach and pool.

Room highlight: The Premiere Ocean Suite is incredibly comfortable and offers an elevated living experience.

The Caves

If you’re looking for a world-class resort with a boutique feel, look no further than The Caves. It’s a far cry from the big, all-inclusive resorts that feel like cruise ships on land.

Featuring only 12 cliffside cottages and a grand villa, this adults-only resort is bursting with color and every room has its own character.

It’s a place where adults can have fun and relax in paradise. You can kayak through natural caves, lounge by the pool, and enjoy delicious meals. They do a great job catering to vegetarians and are always willing to go the extra mile to meet their guests’ needs.

Although The Caves don’t have a popping nightlife or entertainment scene, Negril is just a short drive away, and the resort helps guests find the best live music every night.

Room highlight: The One Bedroom Ocean View Cottage is the perfect love nest.

Iberostar Grand Rose Hall

Single and ready to mingle? This is the best resort for you! When you see pictures of this resort, your first thought might be: “This is like Disneyland for adults.” But instead of rides, characters, and lines, you have spa complexes, massive pools, and fine dining.

This sprawling resort is by no means intimate or secluded, but it’s over-the-top and filled with entertainment. You can experience water pole dancing at the pool, compete in a tennis tournament, or join a pirate party on the beach!

Some of the inclusions have time limits so they aren’t unlimited like they are at other resorts. For example, kayaking, snorkeling, and windsurfing are only free for the first hour.

Room highlight: Some of the entry-level rooms feel like something you’d find in a mid-range Vegas hotel, but the Ocean Front Penthouse Suite with Butler is gorgeous.

Bahia Principe Luxury Runaway Bay

For social couples, singles, and groups of friends, this adults-only resort is one of the best bang-for-your-buck options on the island. One of the reasons you can often find affordable rooms here is because the resort is so large and the entry-level rooms are often on promo.

Featuring 3 pools (2 are huge lagoon-style pools), 10 restaurants, 5 bars, plenty of sports, and lots of sun loungers, this beachfront resort is designed to entertain. There is also a nude beach and guests can use most of the facilities at Bahia Principe Grand Jamaica.

The complimentary inclusions are slightly more limited than at other resorts, but you get a lot for your money. For example, guests can enjoy unlimited local drinks, beer, and soft drinks until 2 a.m., and 24-hour fast food, as well as unlimited à la carte dining.

Room highlight: With prices starting at $138 per person per night, the Junior Suite Deluxe is a great deal.
