Quite a leap from your typical wedding hair accessories, the bridal hat is making a big comeback, and it’s not hard to see why!

A hat is arguably one of the most underrated fashion accessories to add to any outfit, but pair it with a wedding dress and you have a whole new level of glam! 

Women started wearing hats in the 16th century, and since then, we’ve seen a host of different headpieces, from flower pins to feathers (thanks, Marie Antoinette!).

More recently popularized by royal fashion icons such as Princess Diana, fascinators (smaller hats or adornments attached to a hair clip or band) have joined the list of hat trends that now fall under the bridal headwear category.

Descripition This is a dramatic, oversized white bridal hat, designed to make a bold statement.

Boater hats are a super hot trend and are perfect for hip, non-traditional brides. This one comes with an attached veil and would be lovely at an outdoor event.

This hat is made of super-light, breathable fabric, making it cool on the head; perfect for summer weddings. The taupe adds a touch of color for that additional wow factor.

Pearl ‘Mrs’ Fedora

'Bride' is one of our custom hats with a pearl and roses (pink, white and lavender) There is a Bride pin (magnet so it can be moved or removed easily so the hat can be worn after the wedding). This hat is polyester and cotton blend so it is lightweight with a wider Fedora Brim. All hats are custom One-of-a Kind so the hat is special to the wearer.

This cute hipster fedora features some cute beadwork along the rim and has “Mrs” spelled out in pearls. The pearls are removable as well in case you want to switch things up with your look.

Handmade Bowler Hat

This is a lovely oval hat block/ open crown block that you can use to create different styles of hats. The hole in the bottom is 2,5cm (about 1 inch) in diameter. Each item is hand made in the same size, but there can be some variation in the natural colour and grain of the wood.

This hat is very non-traditional, but the light fabric and hand-woven flower on the side make it a great piece for brides who want an accent piece to add to their white ensemble.

Wool Top Hat

It is an artisan product, completely handmade, none of the pieces I make is absolutely identical to another. I personally design and handcraft each headpiece with care and great attention to detail. Entire brim proportions: 30 x 26 cm.The brim's edge is wired to keep the shape and then covered with thin grosgrain ribbon, entirely hand stitched.

The wool on this hat is rather toasty, so this is more suitable for weddings in the fall or winter months. That said, how fabulous are the bow and feather?

We’re pretty sure Kate Middleton wore an almost exact replica of this adorable black feather hat. This one is definitely for brides who want to look glamorous or feel like a princess.

Pink Flower Fascinator

Stunning fuchsia pink, magenta, hot pink, bright pink statement sinamay teardrop shape percher base with a spray of feathers and metallic fuchsia tulle designed in a handcrafted flower style. Hat base is 15cm in diameter and 34cm at its widest point. Millinery elastic has been used to secure it in place on the head.
