The Manor itself is the oldest house in Virginia that allows you and your guests to stay and celebrate with very few restrictions (including sparkler exits, and open flames in the custom-built Ballroom). The history of the house lends an air of vintage elegance, but what most of our couples love is the comfy atmosphere provided by big sofas, real fires, and the ability to curl up at the end of the night in the library with your favorite people.

Facilities and Capacity
With a variety of event spaces available for use, Rixey Manor has an indoor maximum capacity for up to 120 guests. For up to 250 guests, and outdoor ceremonies and celebrations, you’ll want to utilize the venue’s lake view ceremony site and patio celebration area in the shadows of the Blue Ridge Mountains. The serene water will play as an elegant backdrop as you say “I do” among those you love most. Not to mention, you’ll enjoy complete access to the venue’s 1,800-square-foot rooftop terrace, which sits just above the venue’s ballroom space, and the rest of the Manor with multiple reception rooms so everyone can find a space to make the wedding unique.

The family home and Old Barn provide the perfect historical setting for a wedding that carries all the charm and fresh air of a Southern wedding but with all the amenities of something more refined.

Keswick Vineyards
If countryside charm, good wine, and a magnificent, sweeping view of the Blue Ridge Mountains are on your list, consider the grand Keswick Vineyards. Your perfect outdoor dream wedding will consist of the exquisite Edgewood Estates with the backdrop of the winery.
Award-winning wines are what Keswick specializes in, so if you or your wedding guests are into quality wine, you will not be disappointed. Choose from varieties such as Viognier, Verdejo, Chardonnay, Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Merlot, just to name a few.
Keswick offers two smaller lawns for a cocktail hour or a ceremony. The beautiful gazebo, fountain, and vibrant vineyard provide perfect photo-op moments and a relaxing atmosphere.

The Bank Barn, Dairy Barn, Studio Barn, and Manor House can provide an elegant, yet unique atmosphere for your indoor or outdoor wedding ceremony.
Hope Flower Farm is well-known for its flowers and floral arrangements, so it is not surprising that its property and beautiful gardens are simply stunning. Nothing seems off-limits here from intricate arches to beautifully decorated airy spaces.

Shadow Creek
It is easy to see why Shadow Creek is a popular choice for weddings in the greater DC area. This chic barn venue has plenty of room for everyone, indoors and out. Highlights of the outdoor space include rolling hills and pastures.
