Franklin Canyon Park

Nestled between the San Fernando Valley and Beverly Hills, Franklin Canyon Park is a great choice for a “back to nature” wedding venue.

With over 75,000 acres of space, the municipal park offers multiple options for your ceremony and reception, including indoor and outdoor spaces.

You can choose from elegant courtyards to grassy fields to a Spanish Colonial mansion! Plus, there are many exquisite spots for outdoor photo ops that your wedding party will love. 

The Ed Davis Park, Towsley Canyon is an especially beautiful location in nature. It features a Spanish-style ranch house surrounded by cottonwood trees and lush grass. You can have your ceremony on a shaded knoll and then walk back to the house for your reception.

Typical Cost: $2,000 for up to 50 guests for 12 hours.

Capacity: 150 guests at Ed Davis Park, Towsley Canyon, but other spaces can accommodate up to 900 guests.

Located in West Adams, Wilfandel Club House was constructed in 1945 and has a long history of providing a place for culture, education, and socializing for the West Adams community. 

Fortunately for you, this historic mansion and its manicured gardens can also be rented out for weddings, corporate events, and other celebrations. 

It is a great choice for couples who want a hybrid indoor-outdoor wedding, and you will be able to reduce your decoration budget because the décor speaks for itself. 

You will also have access to the kitchen, living room, formal dining room, and changing rooms in the upstairs area as well as the grounds.

However, keep in mind that these types of lush, urban-industrial spaces with an emphasis on design are not cheap. 

A functioning nursery and home & garden destination, this space includes “The Greenhouse”, a two-level, blank canvas building that is buildable with over 20,000 square feet and ample natural light.

The venue also includes a 14,000 showroom, sprawling lawns, an outdoor kitchen with a woodfire pizza oven, an event deck, a landscaped garden, parking, and an area for erecting a tent. 

While this venue may not fit everyone’s budget, it’s the most affordable of its ilk and absolutely stunning. 

Typical Cost: The venue requires a minimum spend of $10,000.

Capacity: 250 guests.
