The Last Bookstore features a “book tunnel” that you’ve probably seen on Instagram and an uncountable number of books spread out over 22,000 square feet of indoor event space. This Italian-inspired house is a one-of-a-kind venue with a carefully curated atmosphere that makes you feel like you are walking into an Anthropologie showroom.

SmogShoppe is located in the Culver City Arts District and can be easily reached from West Hollywood, Beverly Hills, or Downtown LA.

Another quirky, experimental design space from Marvimon Productions, Millwick is just as overflowingly green as its sister venue, SmogShoppe.

Once a cold-storage warehouse, Millwick lives again as a “super-loft”, the perfect indoor space for contemporary weddings with an industrial edge. The space includes the Grand Hall with a performance stage, a changing room, 9 huge skylights, and glass overhead doors. 

The outdoor Courtyard Garden is the definition of an urban oasis from the walls of vertical gardens to the trees and drought-resistant landscaping. This outdoor event space is perfect for a cocktail hour beneath the stars or an afternoon ceremony. 

The entire vibe is jungle-meets-city with a good dose of lush botanical elements.

The Majestic Downtown 

With its dramatic architecture, stunning interior, and over 30,000 square feet of usable event space, it is no wonder the Majestic Downtown stands apart from every other wedding venue in Los Angeles.

Originally constructed in 1924, this historic building is straight out of the Beaux Arts movement. It boasts massive crystal chandeliers, curved marble columns, arched windows, and hand-painted ceilings.

There are many incredible places to get married at Santa Monica Beach, but Annenberg Community Beach House is the perfect choice if you are looking for affordable. It’s cheaper than many other venues, offers incredible ocean views, and is designed to be open to all. 

The Beach House is usually the favorite wedding venue because it’s right next to the sand and has a laid-back, California cozy vibe. You can have your ceremony on the beach and then return to the Beach House for your reception.

It’s important to note that the city of Santa Monica does not issue permits for ceremonies on the beach so it is first come first serve. 

The Splash Pad and the View Deck are also popular choices for wedding venues.

Combining the beauty of nature and sacred spaces, Wayfarers Chapel is one of the most beautiful and least pretentious wedding venues in the Los Angeles Area. Nestled in a grove of redwoods, it is known as “the Glass Church” and you can find it next to the sea in Rancho Palos Verdes.

The chapel’s walls are made of glass with pine beams, allowing you to feel completely enveloped by nature. It almost looks like a crystal gem hidden among the trees. 

The venue only allows flowers and candle decoration; however, you really do not need any other embellishments.

Hartley Botanica 

Located on 3 stunning acres of property in Ventura County, Hartley Botanica is a garden paradise perfect for hosting romantic weddings. Originally created for their own daughter’s wedding, the hosts have opened their piece of Eden to other couples.

You can choose from 2 distinct gardens. The first is the Lotus Tea Gardens, which include many Asian-inspired elements, such as a tea room and a moon door. There is also a walk-through waterfall and tunnels of bamboo trees. 

The Paliuli Garden is the venue’s second green space. It includes 19 archways covered in vines, 5 waterfalls, and 3 aviaries. This garden is the largest and includes 2.5 acres of space.
