The Gahanna Sanctuary
One of our favorites, the Gahanna Sanctuary is located in a suburb of Columbus called Gahanna.
This historic church has original stained glass windows and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Constructed in 1895, there is a restored Gothic Revival style bell tower above Sanctuary Hall.
The Gallery is adjacent to the kitchen and opens onto the terrace. This 1,545 square foot space is the perfect spot for cocktail hour after your ceremony.
Sanctuary Hall is 3,100 square feet with a large wooden dance floor and the raised choir area can be used for a DJ or bartender. An outdoor patio and a bridal suite are included.
Bonus: As a nonprofit, The Gahanna Sanctuary is an amazing venue for an affordable, larger-sized wedding.

The Davis-Shai House
Located a little bit further out from Columbus in Heath, The Davis-Shai House is a stunning Gothic Revival home originally built in 1861.
Owned by Parks and Recreation, this non-profit supports the local arts community.
The Camelot Room has floor-to-ceiling windows on two walls, a cathedral ceiling, and a beautiful chandelier that hangs from the cupola with banquet-style seating.
The smaller Fairview Room is perfect for a micro wedding or can be combined with the Camelot Room for a memorable reception.
For an outdoor ceremony and reception, the Veranda and Lawn features an amazing manicured garden and tents can be rented for a larger wedding party.
