Originally built in 1915 — and inducted into the National Register of Historic Places in 1978 — this gorgeous estate was once owned by James Duke, founder of Duke University. 

The venue offers several beautiful outdoor ceremony options, including the charming Barnhardt Terrace featuring a white pergola, and the sunlit Nisbet Garden.
