One World Theatre
A non-profit organization, One World Theatre’s mission is to educate and unite local citizens through productions and other cultural performances.
However, this picturesque space also doubles as a wedding venue, and what a venue it is! Inspired by a Tuscan-style Villa, One World Theatre offers a dreamy backdrop to all of your wedding festivities.
Start your day off right by taking wedding photos on the aptly-titled Romeo and Juliet Balcony, an outdoor space that overlooks the Austin hillside.
Your ceremony can take place at several locations, including the One World Performance Theatre, a 2,000-square feet indoor space that’s perfect for grand productions. You also have the option of a quaint rooftop ceremony, overlooking the entire property.
For your reception, you can choose between the terrace, which boasts gorgeous stone features and foliage, or the Grand Piazza, a tented venue that protects you from the elements but doesn’t obscure views of the gorgeous property.
Two special perks of getting married at One World Theatre are the private dressing rooms and spa services available.
Depending on the wedding package you choose, your rental can include five hours of event space, full use of the onsite theatre and reception spaces, a private suite, and dressing room, and standing wedding supplies (tables, chairs, etc).

Zilker Botanical Garden
When you first think of Texas, you might not necessarily imagine a lush landscape full of gorgeous flowers, towering trees, and gentle flowing streams. However, Texas’s geography is pretty diverse, which allows for beautiful green spaces to thrive.
One such space is the Zilker Botanical Garden, a 28-acre garden space that displays and celebrates both local and international garden practices. Here, you’ll walk among lush lawns, water features, and of course, vibrant blooms and foliage.
As for weddings, The Mabel Davis Rose Garden is a popular ceremony space. A long, meandering pathway, flanked on both sides by stone features and verdant grass, greets you at the entrance, making it the perfect spot for a bridal procession.
You can also wed in the Taniguchi Japanese Garden, a scenic nod to Japanese horticulture. It features Japanese maple trees, koi ponds, and a bamboo grove.
Of course, this venue space overflows with places that would make great backdrops for your wedding photos, so you’ll want to take advantage of that!

The Contemporary Austin – Jones Center

Whether you’re in the market for a traditional ceremony, elopement, or even a vow renewal, this historic venue has you covered.
The Austin branch of the museum allocates its Jones Center for weddings and other festivities. It’s a grand indoor/outdoor space that’s perfectly suited to take on whatever theme you may like.
Ideally, you’d exchange your vows on the cozy rooftop patio, as you overlook the Austin skyline. This space features an open-air canopy, romantic seating, and the necessary equipment to host presentations (if you so choose).
For your reception, consider The Community Room, a long rectangular space that’s perfect for a sit-down dinner.

House on the Hill
The House on the Hill is an immaculate, southwestern-style estate that overlooks the Austin country hillside, making it a perfectly whimsical location to wed. Spanning 10 acres, this home offers several scenic locations for all of your wedding activities.
You can start your big day by taking wedding photos inside of the ornate home, which features vaulted cedar ceilings and tiled floors.
Because this property abounds with natural features, such as gardens, stone pathways, and waterfalls, many couples choose to have an outside wedding.
But just in case that’s not your thing (or the pesky weather poses a problem), there are also elegant indoor spaces that you can utilize for your ceremony and reception.
The best thing about this venue is that it can easily provide lodging for any out-of-town guests (or for yourselves if you just need to get away).
Depending on the wedding package you choose, you’ll be able to access the full property for the duration of your rentals as well as bride and groom suites. You also have the option to bring your own vendors and also your four-legged friends!

Chapel Dulcinea
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that leans closer to the lower end of the spectrum, then Chapel Dulcinea is the perfect venue for you. Just rest assured that when we say lower, we don’t mean lower in quality, we mean lower in price.
Known fondly as “the free wedding chapel,” Chapel Dulcinea provides couples with a quaint, unique, authentic, wedding chapel at no charge. Okay, so you do have to pay a $400 refundable deposit, but that’s only to reserve your spot, as this venue is very popular.
Because of demand, and rising costs on the owner’s backend, they have limited the number of free wedding slots to only four per day (Friday-Sunday. So make sure you reserve your date quickly!
Rentals include access to the ceremony space; however, you’re responsible for securing a reception space and all of the details that go with that.
Price Range: $0 cost for a ceremony; $400 refundable deposit required.
Capacity: 30 – 60 guests.
