The second option is The Gazebo, which offers panoramic views of the park and the rose garden.

With three outdoor sites to choose from and exclusive use of the property and staff for your wedding day, Ainsworth House has much to offer.

With a 200-year-old Ponderosa Pine sitting at its center, The Pine Tree Garden is ideal for larger weddings. The ancient Ponderosa towers over the garden, its magnificent branches stretching out to offer shade and comfort to your guest as you walk down the aisle.

Say “I do” under this ancient pine and let it imbue your wedding with special magic.

The Front Lawn or Grove are equally beautiful locales.

The Front Lawn offers a long processional path for the bride to show off her perfect dress. Meanwhile, the Grove, with a wrought iron gazebo decorated with fairy lights, is the ideal choice for intimate ceremonies.

Pictures can be taken at the many scenic locations throughout the property. A 3,000 square ft banquet hall with an outdoor patio and woodland area is available for your reception.

After saying your “I dos,” head out on gentle walking trails to take photos amidst the beautiful flowers, at the scenic ponds, and carefully sculpted gardens throughout the 16-acre space.

Your reception can be held in the manor house with its gleaming timber beams, historic fireplace, and exquisite chandelier lighting. If you prefer to remain outside, the beauty of the East Terrace is another excellent option.

The Aerie at Eagle Landing

Nestled in the hills and mountains of Happy Valley, you’ll find Aerie at Eagle Landing.

This stunning outdoor wedding venue offers four outdoor sites for your special day. This beautiful venue is a forest with Arborvitae evergreens and offers fantastic Willamette Valley views and incredible sunsets for perfect golden-hour pictures.

There are four outdoor sites for your ceremony: The Bellevue Garden, The Cave, The Bellaire Greens, and The Dock.

The Cave, my favorite of the four, is a misnomer. Instead of being dark, cold, and uninviting, The Cave is ethereal, enclosed by tender young trees and strung with romantic bistro lights.

There’s a sense of magic to the space that you and your guests will feel if you choose it for your ceremony, reception, or both.

The other venues are stunning, of course. The Bellevue Garden and Bellaire Greens offer wide emerald lawns that you can arrange and decorate to your taste. There’s also The Dock with its shimmering and picturesque pond.

Whichever of these you choose, you can take some memorable photos if you spend time at any of them.

All sites offer reception space, and rental includes set-up and breakdown of tables and chairs, all tableware, private bathrooms, rehearsal time, and meeting time with the sales and event manager.

Capacity: 125 – 350

Oregon Garden

Filled with lush gardens, sprawling forests, and stunning waterways Oregon Garden is yet another beautiful outdoor wedding venue.

This 80-acre botanical garden offers three outdoor wedding sites, reception space, and of course, stunning landscape for memorable photos.

One of the more stunning venues on this property is the Garden Green & Grand Hall. The Garden Green is an emerald lawn that you can decorate for your nuptials before heading inside the reception hall.

With two other equally lovely venues you definitely must consider Oregon Garden for your outdoor wedding.

After your ceremony, you’ll have many sites to choose from for photos.

I recommend the amazing Water Garden with its embellished bridges and flowing waterfall or perhaps the Bosque with its reflecting ponds and verdant maples.

Wherever you take your pictures, you’ll have an array of stunning photos to remember your special day.

There are both indoor and outdoor options for your reception. Whichever you pick, you’ll be surrounded by absolutely stunning views of the garden.

Your rental fee includes 12 hrs of exclusive access to the perfect venue of your choice, the option to take photos throughout the property, and table and chair set-up and clean-up.

Oregon Garden does not offer catering, DJ, flowers, linens, or tableware.

Pricing: $1,500 – $5,000

Capacity: 80 – 400

This countryside venue, with its meandering paths and songbirds, will charm your guests and provide a stunning backdrop for your ceremony.

Your wedding will take place on the Ceremony Patio just outside the barn, surrounded by wildflowers and breathtaking mountain views.

Nature is the dream decorator for your Tin Roof Barn wedding.

Once you’ve recited your vows take pictures in the apple orchard, the windmill meadow, or the many other scenic locales throughout the property.

For your reception, the barn itself is available. Soaring timber beams, chandelier lighting, and vintage furniture welcome your loved ones to celebrate your nuptials with rustic charm.

The rental fee includes rehearsal time, exclusive access for set-up, breakdown, and clean-up, choice of ceremony location, restrooms, and cottage for prep. Additional amenities are available depending on your chosen ceremony site; all sites include chairs.

Pricing: $5,300 – $10,500

Capacity: 160-190

This world-class luxury hotel has everything you need to plan an elegant event: a gourmet, locally sourced menu, lavish accommodations for you and your guests, and a grand wedding venue that you’ll remember for a lifetime.

Of course, no outdoor wedding venue list is complete without one rooftop wedding venue, and for this list The Departure is it.

The Departure restaurant features two outdoor decks and can be booked for your wedding. With breathtaking city views, the decks can be decorated for your ceremony and an easy transition from wedding to cocktails or reception within the restaurant itself.

Photos can be taken throughout the hotel.

The rental fee includes private ceremony and reception location, set-up and tear-down of hotel-provided furniture, burgundy or silver chairs, guestbook table, gift table, cake cutting, champagne toast, the discounted room rate for guests, and wedding night champagne and chocolate covered strawberries.
