Everything might be bigger in Texas, but that doesn’t necessarily apply to your wedding budget. Even Austin, one of Texas’ most expensive cities, offers an array of affordable wedding venues that won’t leave you in a pile of debt.
The average couple spent $31,257 on their 2021 wedding, but despite Austin’s high cost of living, the affordable venues that we’ve compiled lack nothing in comparison to their more expensive counterparts.
Whether you’re looking for a quaint chapel, exclusive social club, or charming botanical garden, Austin has you covered — for a fraction of the price.
Here are the 10 best affordable wedding venues in Austin, Texas.

For your reception, you can use the Special Event Center, an indoor/outdoor space with large windows, which allow plenty of natural light. It also boasts panoramic views of Lady Bird Lake.
Most rentals include the ceremony and reception space, and any existing furniture (as the library allows limited outside decor and furniture). Catering packages, which must be bought through the library, are extra.
